Need

Be heat ready when outdoors and in cars.

Keep in mind waterways are especially perilous this time of year. Snowmelt is reaching its peak, meaning local rivers and lakes are very cold. Rivers in particular are running cold, fast and high. Be aware when swimming, hiking or spending time by any water right now.

Cars are also a danger zone with the warmer weather. Look Before you Lock is a good message to keep in mind. It only takes minutes for a car to heat to dangerous levels.
